Taylor Sandell is a multimedia artist currently residing in the temperate rainforest of Revelstoke, BC. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in animation, Taylor seamlessly blends her digital expertise with a diverse array of physical mediums. Whether it’s projection mapping or immersive installations Taylors work combines old materials with modern technologies.
Taylor Sandell's work is a delightful fusion of the past and the present, embodying a stylistic ethos that is both nostalgic and surreal. Drawing inspiration from a myriad of sources including antiques, taxidermy, and poetry, she concocts pieces that evoke a sense of whimsy and puzzlement.
What sets Taylor's body of work apart is its cohesive yet eclectic nature. Despite traversing various styles and mediums, her creations are unified by a common thread - an innovative use of technology. Whether it's breathing life into antique relics or infusing modern spaces with a touch of nostalgia.
